The holidays have come and gone and we’re in the midst of those winter months that seem to go on for years. Cozy up with some hot chocolate (maybe add some Bailey’s, I’m not judging) and read on for my round-up of the biggest swim trends of the year! We managed time to take a trip to Belize (AHH missing it so) so I took advantage of the beautiful weather and had Jason snap some photos. Click the images for details!
Check it out!! (Get it, “check” because of – nevermind) Gingham is flirty and chic yet timeless. This off the shoulder gingham top with little poms (so cute, I die) and cheeky bottoms were just what the doctor ordered for a sassy gingham look. This style has completely blown up and I’m sure will be flooding your Instagram feed if it hasn’t already.
Wearing a 4 in the top and 2 in the bottoms.
There is no trend more feminine and delicate than ruffles! They make your suit more interesting and can even be placed creatively to hide any areas you don’t want accentuated.
I bought it in red and black with the intention of returning one of them. Needless to say…
COVER IT UP
The one piece trend blew up last year but it’s here to stay! No longer reserved for the body conscious, one piece suits can be whatever you’d like them to be. Cut outs and patterns and belts, oh my!
This one is cheeky with a capital C! I chose the tropical print but it’s also available in red and black.
Wearing a 4 tall as I found it runs a little small. I am 5’6 so normally don’t wear tall but I have a long torso.

SHOW IT OFF
High neck swimwear has been a strictly conservative look in the past, but thanks to some creativity there is something for everyone in this style! Comfortable, keeps the girls in place, and no sunscreen needed on the area that always seems to burn first (not to mention age first…)
Wearing a 2 and it’s pretty snug, size up if you’re in between!
I encourage you to try something new this year! These looks are effortlessly chic and will have you feeling better than basic wherever the warm weather takes you.
